The conversation surrounding the legalization of LGBTQ in Ghana has taken centre stage in recent days with the citizenry divided on the topic as some want it legalized while others are strongly kicking against it.

In terms of human rights, some are making arguments suggesting that the rights of homosexuals must be protected while others who strongly believe in the traditional norms and customs of the country do not want it legalized.

In a tweet, Gabby said he does not need to be gay to understand what they are going through, all you need to understand is to be human and be tolerant.

You don’t have to be pro-gay to appreciate their situation. You only have to be human. Let us be careful and not generate an intense hate campaign against homosexuals. You can speak for the law and ‘culture’ minus hate. Hate sucks!
