Ghanaians React As First Batch Of Covid-19 Vaccines Arrives In Ghana

Many Ghanaian has have reacted to the arrival of the new Covid-19 vaccines at the Kotoka International Airport on 24 February 2021.

According to information gather, 600,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine arrived this morning in an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER at the Kotoka International Airport.

Ghana is the second country to receive AstraZeneca vaccine from Covax in India.

Minister-designate for Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu, leads government delegation to receive the vaccines.

The vaccines, delivered by UNICEF, are the first wave produced by COVAX which is been sent to Low and Middle income countries
