President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and the first lady receives the first dose of Covax covid-19 vaccine with was imported into the country
The vaccination took place at the 37 Military Hospital after the president announced of been the first to receive it.

The president in his 24th address to the nation encourage everyone to take the vaccine as its safe and not intended to wipe away the African generation or to render women infertile.
However, the pregnant woman and lactating mothers has been excluded from the vaccination.
The vaccination has been grouped into batches with each batch expected to be vaccinated until atleast 20 million Ghanaians receives the vaccination.
