Finally It Has Happened: Prez. Akufo-Addo directs Auditor-General To Proceed On Retirement After Serving 167 Days Of Accumulated Leave

The Auditor-General of Ghana, Mr. Daniel Yaw Domelevo has been directed by the President of the country, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to proceed on his retirement after he has fully served the 167 days forced accumulated leave.

The Audit Service has in the last few days raised some allegations questioning the nationality and date of birth of Mr. Domelevo.

Mr. Daniel Domelevo who returned to work on March 3, 2021 has officially been asked through a letter from the office of the president to vacate his office since the date of birth on his official documents prove he is due for retirement.

According to the letter, the Audit Service Board has written to the president on the matter with documents to prove their claims even though the auditor has explained that the date of birth captured on his birth certificate is wrong as the correct one is in his baptismal documents.
