Member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has a word of encouragement to Ghanaian graduates.
Thousands of students graduate from universities and tertiary institutions each year, but almost half of them are unemployed and must find a way to support themselves, making the courses they studied less valuable.

In Ghana, students spend more money on schooling (paying of fees) but end up unemployed regardless of their good grades or they in-depth knowledge about the physical world because they may not have any connections.

Kennedy Agyapong has reacted to Ghana’s high unemployment rate in one of his interviews as he has shared a touching message to graduates.
Kennedy Agyapong humbly revealed that Ghanaian graduates who only wants to work in the government sectors that it will take a while before they can achieve those dreams.
Kennedy Agyapong urged graduates to develop themselves by doing whatever small work they enjoy that they can earn from.
He reminded graduates not to wait until they find white-collar work relevant to the university courses they took.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong concluded his advice to graduates by saying, “Government cannot help anyone, I beg you.”
