Yaw Tog’s mum, Mama Tog has shared some hilarious childhood memories of the hip-hop youngster at his seven-track “Time EP” listening.
At Yaw Tog also known as Young Bull’s debut Time EP listening held at the Gardens at Kumasi on March 21, 2021, he was surprised by the presence of his mother.
Portfolio De MC of Aseda Radio interviewed the “sweet 16” mother of Yaw Tog whom she has been given the nickname “Mama Tog”.
Mother of the newest sensation in town, Yaw Tog has said that since her son was shot to fame, she can no longer discipline him.
According to the mother, she is currently shy when rebuking his son following his sudden rise in the industry.
“Now, I cannot discipline him anymore, I’m a bit shy of him, so I cannot criticize him. Now, when I criticize him, I do it humbly”,” she revealed to Kumasi-based Aseda Radio during the launch of Yaw Tog’s “Time” EP over the weekend.
She also revealed Yaw Tog’s hilarious childhood memories about showing defiance, saying she would use cooked eggs to threaten him.
“When he was a little kid, I used to threaten that I would curse him with boiled eggs. “Sometimes, when he goes out to play at places I do not like, I chase him with boiled eggs.”” she disclosed.
Hadn’t it been music, Yaw Tog’s mother, Mama Tog said she had wanted him to become a medical doctor but since no one can chance destiny, she has to support him.
