On Wednesday, 24 March, Thedistin.com reported of a female pilot, Captain Eva Gichuru, of a domestic airline in Ghana receiving praises for safe landing a flight amid terrible weather.
Video of the terrible moment the passengers were seen stranded and calling on their creators to help them land safely has popped up online.
A passenger on board, Quennie Aboakyewaa captured the frightening moment of when passengers were seriously praying out of fear before the flight landed.
Narrating the experience she said “we nearly died, we saw death today” and that a Muslim woman was even speaking in tongues.

A female pilot, Captain Eva Gichuru, of a domestic airline in Ghana has proven the kind of heroine she is after safely landing her flight despite the weather posing a threatening challenge.
Reports say the plane had encountered bad weather on its approach to Accra but the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) known for her skillfulness at her job remained composed after spending about an unexpected one hour flying about till she had the clearance to land.
The flight was reportedly scheduled to touch down in Accra at 8:10 pm but it was held up, circling until 9:02 pm.
