A Circuit Court in Accra issued a witness summons on popular actress, Nana Ama MacBrown to appear before the court presided over by Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah to testify in a case in which Lawrence Nana Asiamah [Bulldog] is standing trial.

On Thursday, March 25, McBrown was to appear before the court but she reported failed to cooperate with investigators and avail herself in court to testify.

She reportedly told the prosecutor in the case, Chief Inspector Simon Appiorsonu, that she would not be able to appear before the court to testify “no matter what.”

The judge then granted the prosecutor’s request for a subpoena to be issued on her, compelling her to be in court to testify.

MacBrown’s testimony, according to the prosecutor, will be critical in helping the court fairly and impartially determine the matter before it.
