According to the female reporters, Okwahuhemaa Piesie Afia Pokua, her 2 male colleagues were locked in a room when they returned to gather update from the infamous lesbian wedding on Kwahu Obomeng in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

She stated that upon reaching the location where the secret marriage ceremony was organised some members of the group confronted them and abducted the two gentlemen.

She later said the expose was done by three of them for the wedding to be stopped by the police but they wanted to gather more information about the wedding incident that is why they went back.

Afia Pokua disclosed that she was lucky to have escaped only because she was just at the entrance when the irate group attacked them.

Per her account, some the group who were arrested that Saturday night have been granted bail, and that are very much aggressive towards the media and any person outside their circles.

“Dwanena and Teacher Anointing have been locked up. I managed to escape their attack. A driver who saw me quickly picked me up and we have reported the issue to the police. As I speak I don’t know what has happened to them.

“The moment they saw us approaching they rushed on us shouting that we caused their arrest. They even took the phone of the reporters and smashed it with a stone,” she narrated.

Piesie Afia Pokua disclosed that the taxi driver took her to the police to file an official complaint and get her colleagues rescued. She feared the group had assaulted her colleagues, and that any further delays could be threatening.

“The police have detailed an office to take me there for their rescue.”

But Kofi Adoma Nwanwani suggested the police call for reinforcement to deal with the situation. He urged the reporter to stay safe whilst the police address the matter.
