Two suspected armed robbers have been attacked by the people of Nungua after they snatched the bag of a mobile money vendor.
According to reports gathered by thedistin.com, the mobile money vendor came out his shop and two guys on a motorbike snatched the bag.
The mobile money vendor began shouting “Thief ooo Thief” so as to get the attention of bystanders.
Luckily, a taxi driver spotted the two armed robbers on the motorbike and hit them with his car preventing from escaping.
The on lookers at the scene then pounced on the armed robbers and began beating them.
One of the armed robbers who was nearly dressed was asked why he decided to steal the bag of the mobile money vendor.
According to him, his child is very sick and he has been searching for money to take care of the child but he hasn’t gotten some.
As a result, he decided to do this to get some money to pay his child’s medical bills.
