Kantanka’s Link Up show host, Monalisa Tsatsu Semaha popularly called Mona Gucci has resigned from Kantanka Tv as she has revealed she wants to further her education and come back stronger.
The renowned Ghanaian screen goddess, Mona Gucci was the host of the ‘Link Up’ show on Kantanka TV every Tuesday and Friday which was later changed to Friday only.
Her show has been the most loved late-night entertainment show following the controversy that comes with it.
Mona Gucci has just turned in her resignation letter as she walks away from the Tv station she has worked with for some years now.
Taking to her Instagram to announce her immediate resignation Mona Gucci posted the below statement and captioned it,
I humbly bow out of KantankaTv as the hottest host for linkup celebrity show….first of all I was in ghana for a short holiday wen Kantanka approached me to host the linkup show..Tv n radio is my God given passion so I agreed to while away time …I made Kantanka one of the most watched tv stations in ghana …from viewership to followers I made it happen…but as the Bible says there’s time for everything….I thank Kantanka tv for the love n support to make the linkup show one of the best in Ghana…the family at Kantanka tv is amazing I won’t forget them in a hurry… such love…thank u to everyone who supports n love AdwoaBroniPapabi MonaGucci…. when am done with school I won’t hesitate to come back to my family (Kantanka)…❤️❤️❤️ until then I HAVE OFFICIALLY RESIGNED FROM KANTANKA TV ✍️✍️. @kwadwosafo_jnr my boss you are one in a million God bless ur kind heart…??
After releasing an official statement to announce her resignation from the work, it was alleged that the famous celebrity has sacked from her post for having a short banter with her rival Afia Schwarzenegger.
Well, Mona has quickly reacted to those filthy rumours with a post on her Instagram page again.
In her post, she shared a video of Kwesi Ernest telling the world that he would have been shocked if Mona was sacked by Kantanka TV and indicated that she has not been sacked but she willingly bowed out because she wants to further her education and serve Ghana in a more better way.
Her caption reads;
“I resigned from Kantanka tv I wasn’t sacked… @kwesiernestofficial thank u huni u know me too well… from USA to Canada to ghana u know me too well…!! Thank u… I need to further my education…n come back to serve ghana like am supposed to..!!”
