Netizens have reacted to the release of Akuapem Poloo after she was sentenced to 90 days of imprisonment on 3 charges
The Court presided over by Her Honour Mrs. Christiana Cann, sentenced Akuapem Poloo to 90 days on each count but the court said, the sentence must run concurrently.

However, after some days in prison, Akuapem Poloo has been granted bail of GHC 80,000. This has made some netizens wonder if a person sentenced to prison can be granted bail.

When the prison term is so short that by the time the Appeal is heard, the convict might have finished serving the sentence, bail is allowed
