Rashid Yakubu, the father of Akuapem Poloo’s son, Chief, in an interview on Okay FM has reacted to her jail terms and narrates how they met as lovers.
In an interview on Ekwansodwodwo on Okay FM hosted by Abeiku Santana, Rashid Yakubu revealed that she met Akuapem Poloo at the Apus Club and they stayed as husband and wife at Osu.
Rashid Yakubu being a boutique owner as at that time and Akuapem Poloo haven graduate, they welcomed their son, Chief.
Rashid Yakubu disclosed the real name of his son with Akuapem Poloo as Mohammed Modasel Yakubu.
According to Rashid Yakubu, Mohammed Modasel Yakubu popularly called Chief was born on 30th June, 2013 and will turn 8 years this year.
Rashid Yakubu explained that he had wanted to marry Akuapem Poloo but that things were not going well financially, which caused them to be estranged.
Rashid Yakubu responded to Akuapem Poloo’s jail sentence by saying that their son is aware of what his mother is going through and has visited him to console him on several occasions.
In Rashid Yakubu’s interview with Abeiku Santana, Thedistin.com had discovered that he is also a musician as his song was played on air during their interaction.
