Ghana Police Service has stated their stand on the request by Ghanaian youth to protest in the country come mothers day May 9th, 2021.
During an interview on Joy Prime News, the communications director of the Ghana Police Serve has stated that it’s impossible for a protest to be organised in a social distancing manner.

She continued that, it will be difficult for Ghanaian youth to adhere to covid-19 protocols while they protest on the Fix The Country Campaign.
Fix The Country campaign was scheduled to be held on 9th May 2021, however, the response from Ghana Police Service shows they are not ready to provide permit for the event
