KNUST student who went viral after his girlfriend, Nana Ama broke his heart and later appeared on Date Rush to look for love begs Ruth for forgiveness after body shaming her on live Tv.
It will be recalled that on the episode 5 of TV3 Date Rush season 5 aired on the Accra based television station and it’s social media platforms on Sunday, May 2, 2021, witnessed two new male faces; Kofi Kodark and Sammy.
Kofi Kodark, a budding rapper had controversial female contestant, Bella as his date but Sammy who was seen as a ‘talkative’ had no date on that night.
One comment that Sammy raised that got many viewers of the show bashing him was when he body shamed Ruth.
Interestingly, Sammy who had eyes on Bibi, another contest on the show but she was also not interested in him, turned down Ruth’s light and said he does not have any love feelings for her.
He explained that Ruth looks older than him and that could make people think that she is his mother if they go walking in town.
Ruth had disappointed written all over her face after Sammy rejected her even though she had explained that she was only 22 years.
The final year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Ghana (KNUST) in an interview with Abena Gold on GHPage TV, has apologised to Ruth for describing her as old looking on TV3’s Date Rush show.
Sammy went on his knees to plead with her to forgive him – for describing her as someone who people might think of her as his mother when they go out on a date.
