Ghana Armed Force To Begin Operation Halt II On Pra River With 400 Men

Ministry Of Information in a press has released a statement on the next move of Ghana Armed Forces on the fight against galamsey in the country.

According to the minister, the operation is expected to help cease and prevent logistics on River Pra which are been used in illegal mining.

This is one of the steps that the government has established to show its commitments to the fight against galamsey in the country which is destroying the water bodies.

The new operation halt II is set to embark with additional 200 men of the service to help continue the operation to make sure that all illegal mining stopped in the country.

The minister has therefore advised the public to move away from illegal mining on river bodies to prevent been hurt by the actions of the men on the ground.
