A 28 year old Ghanaian man identified as Samuel Ebo Ghunney has invented a machine that breaks cocoa pods easily for farmers to increase productivity

The young man in an interview revealed that the reason why he developed this machine called ‘Noghusam’ is to cut down the level of stress cocoa farmers in particular go through before selling their seeds.

Most of the time, cocoa farmers recruit quite a number of people to help them break the cocoa and bring out the seeds for drying.

In order to cut down all this stress and extra financial load on the farmers, Samuel Ebo decided to invent this machine to speed up the whole process.

He further called on the government of Ghana to help him produce more of the machine for cocoa farmers.

Meanwhile, Samuel Ebo Ghunney dropped out of school because he couldn’t continue his education at Winneba Vocation Institute and resides in Sankor, a fishing community in the Central Region.
