A man has angrily crushed the wife to death for her refusal to allow him (husband) have access to her phone
A Nigerian man identified as Makanjuola Ayedun from Isanlu community, Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State has reportedly crushed his wife, Mrs Nike Ayedun to death with a car.
The incident occurred at Gwagwalada, Abuja on Friday, May 14, 2021 around 10pm.
According to the report Ayedun, wife, Nike, who is a staff member of the World Bank office at Asokoro, Abuja was knocked down by the husband while reversing his car.
It was learnt that due to the speed, the car crossed an untarred road and crashed into a building where some things were destroyed.

It was learnt that Ayedun wanted to flee when he realised that he had killed his wife, blaming the incident on brakes failure.
A source, however, stated that it was not an accident. According to the source who is close to the family, the man had always physically assaulted his wife.
The latest was over a safe box she got for the purpose of saving money for her son who demanded a huge birthday party.
However, an eyewitness report has it that Makanjuola broke it and she confronted him and he retaliated by beating her. “After beating the hell out of her in the house, he collected her phone so that she could not call anyone. The man went outside and turned on his car’s engine while he came down to open the gate.
Nike ran to the gate demanding her phone. The husband said he would crush and kill her, and before she knew what was happening, the man knocked her down with full force while reversing the car,” the source said.
