First Lady Mrs Rebecca Akuffo Addo in a statement is said to refund all the allowance paid her since the NPP took office in 2017.
Mrs Rebecca Akuffo Addo has decided to return all the allowance paid her after the public spoke about their emoluments.
A statement released by the Director of Communication Korkor Biebo at the First Lady’s office has it that Mrs Rebecca Akuffo Addo has decided to return all money paid her.
According to the statement the First Lady’s has taken into consideration the ongoing discussions concerning the recommendation by Prof. Yaa Ntiamoa- Baidu Committee to pay First and Second Lady a whoop some of salary every month backdated from 2017
However, the first lady is currently on allowance schedules before the recommendation from the committee to include them on Article 71 office holders.
This has made Mrs Rebecca Akuffo Addo to reject the offer and also decided to return all money paid her since the NPP took office in 2017.
