Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Alban Bagbin has called on his men to watch their lips especially when they are out of the parliament house.

The Speaker of Parliament Hon Alban Bagbin has sounded a word of caution to Members of Parliament over their choice of words especially when they are out of their working jurisdiction

According to the speaker, the privilege and immunity of free speech applies fully in plenary sessions and committee sessions but not outside.

He continued that, Members of Parliament don’t have any right to speak anyhow during debates, speaking on the radio, or even on Television as they are not above the law.

Their freedom ends the moment they step their legs out of the premises of their working jurisdictions as stated by the law of the country
