This is why Oswald, a 9-year-old pupil’s letter sparked excitements, donations and got the internet buzzing as Mrs. Appiah, Our Day trend on Twitter.

From a heartfelt letter to a dream come true, a little boy is about to have the best day ever as KFC, Dominos Ghana, Access Bank, Dano Milk, Ashesi University, Myst Water, Atomic Waakye and other brands have reacted to his letter.

It all started when a Twitter user @SmylyThe3rd shared what Oswald’s mother, Mrs. Rita Gennuh had shown him on Twitter of her son requesting things he wants her to buy for him on Our Day.

Sharing the post on Twitter, @SmylyThe3rd wrote “Our Day instructions that my colleague’s son gave to her. The emotional blackmail at the end”.

The post has since gone viral with ‘Our Day’ garnering nearly 200,000 tweets alongside ‘Mrs Appiah’ believed to be the (favourite) teacher of the pupil also in Ghana’s Twitter trends.
